 The Wine Institute of New Orleans (WINO) is hosting a Spanish Wine Educator's Course, offered by the Wine Academy of Spain. This program is directed to wine professionals such as educators, critics, writers, journalists, distributors, importers, sommeliers, and wine buyers that are interested in getting to know our wine in depth, for buying, importing or communicating. |

The Wine Academy of Spain is pleased to announce the second leg of our Spanish Wine Educator's course, which will conclude its North American Tour.
The Spanish Wine Educator's course will be presented in many cities throughout the US as well as Canada, beginning in February and kicking the tour off in Las Vegas. Many industry professionals have offered to work with us (by providing venues, receiving wines etc.)in bringing this course to industry professionals throughout North America.
This program is a certified, comprehensive and all-inclusive 2.5 day Spanish Wine Course, with an intensive tasting component. We cover all of Spain's DO's, terroir, wine laws, wine styles, grape varieties, etc., and our past students, many of whom are SWE members and ISG students, have been raving about the 1st leg of the program, which we presented last summer in North America. This is a serious course, which requires a serious commitment to pass.
The top 15 highs-scorers will be treated to a Spanish Wine Tour covering Spain’s top DO's, over the course of a week or so this fall.(Travel to Spain not included.)
