Notes
-----
Deep purple color with no signs of age; full bodied and very
rich; abundant dark fruits, cherries, a little jammyness,
hint of caramel, pencil shavings and tar-covered peach.
Beautifully balanced - needs to age a bit longer.
Wonderfully extracted with a bright finish.

Production Notes
----------------
Puech-Haut's meticulously maintained vinyards are situated
on rolling hillsides, well above the coastal Mediterranean
city of Monpellier. In the chateau's state-of-the-art
winery, a limited amount of this nearly opaque, ruby purple
wine is crafted from hand-harvest fruit. This is the
estate's top wine, a blend of 70% Syrah and 30% Carignan
(from 60-year-old vines). Only 500 cases available in the
U.S.
