Plum color with purple/red rim. The nose was closed and
tight. After decanting a few hours some vanilla/oak aromas
developed. There was lots of black fruit in the flavors. The
tannins were extremely well balanced between the fruit
tannins and oak tannins. Some acidity, but not overbearing.
Full bodied, long finish which starts very aggressive and
dry and then mellows and becomes smooth and silky.  Still
extremely youthful.
