A temperature- and humidity-controlled wine room is a feature growing in popularity in luxury homes, particularly those priced at $500,000 and up.
According to one builder, "Very few build these homes without it being considered. Just like there are always questions about a media room or exercise room," said Killian, chief executive of Simonini Builders. |
Hmm, the article says that the cost of adding a built-in wine room in a new house is a mere $15,000, compared to the usual cost of adding one to an existing home, which averages %35,000.
I sure hope that LaWineClub's official cellar didn't cost quite that much...but it works just as well as the professional jobs. |
