If you’re looking for fun, check Pontchartrain Vineyards’ outdoor concert series, Jazz’n the Vines, on the 2nd and 4th Saturday nights from May through October, at 6:30 p.m. Jazz’n the Vines provides the community with a fun and unique venue in which to celebrate Louisiana’s rich cultural heritage-- food/wine/music!

This year’s program, 12 concerts, includes new performers as well as past favorites, guaranteed to appeal to a wide range of musical tastes.

The eighth season begins on Saturday, May 12th, with the return of the distinguished Creole Jazz Serenaders with Don Vappie. During the month of May, the Serenaders will play in New York at Carnegie Hall, Joe’s Pub, and the Center For the Arts, in Harrisbug, PA at the Whitaker Center and in New Orleans at the Jazz & Heritage Festival. Grab an umbrella and join us in literally kicking off the Jazz’n the vines season with a parade through the vineyards.

Oct 27--Theresa Andersson
Originally from Sweden, New Orleans (since the early 90’s, via Nashville, Austin, back to N.O) vocalist, violinist (read Fiddler) performing her "roots-informed rock," jazz, R & B–-a big-time "Go Girl" performer on the rise

The community is invited to bring lawn chairs, umbrella, picnic fare, and a thirst for fine wine and music in a magnificent vineyard setting. There is a $10.00/person entrance fee. (No pets or outside wines, liquor or beer..) Gourmet sandwiches and desserts from Winfield Farms and Pontchartrain Vineyards wines will be available for purchase.

Pontchartrain Vineyards is located at 81250 Hwy. 1082 (Old Military Road), 6.5 miles from its juncture with Hwy. 21 (Military Road), just North of Covington, Louisiana.
