 The restaurant GW Fins will be hosting a wine dinner on September 11th, 2007. It will feature Jordan 1999, 2001, and 2003 Cabs, as well as the current vintage Chardonnay and one of their highly prized dessert wines, in coordination with a 5-course meal designed to complement these wines. This exclusive dinner will be held in the private dining room, and seating is limited to 25 guests. A complete menu is posted below. |

First Course
Heirloom Beet and Mache Salad, with whipped orange blossom mascarpone served with toasted pecans and Tarragon Oil, paired with a 2005 Jordan Chardonnay
Second Course
Alaskan Sable Fish, with vanilla lobster jus, braised endive, fresh gnocchi and crispy leeks, paired with a 2003 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon
Third Course
Seared Duck Breast and Leg Confit, served with sweet potatoes, balsamic strawberries, veal jus and boudin, paired with a 2001 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon
Fourth Course
Neiman Ranch Lamb Loin Chop, served with potato-garlic bread pudding, a wild mushroom demiglace and pepper jelly, paired with a 1999 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon
Dessert
A fresh frozen Georgia Peach Soufflé, with raspberry sauce, paired with a 1983 Jordan Riviere Russe
